It is a simple idea, but not many live by it. Much of what is on my mind during the day has very little to do with where I am, I transport myself to the past and remember the events I regret or want to relive, or much more often I take myself forward in time, imagining every possible detail of my future life. Nothing stays in the present, i feel it is so ephemeral and unreachable, and yet I have it in my hands every second. Creating something new can only result in the present, is the only one that can bring you down and show you the opportunities that are right in front. So the gift is creativity, to take your life through the path you want, and choose the way, from a myriad of ways; find the moment that is unique, and perform your will. No wonder why they call it a present.
